The construction works of MİLGEM TCG DERYA, carried out by the Presidency of Defense Industries, built at Sefine Shipyard and the classification services of Türk Loydu according to the Naval Ship Classification Rules, continue at full speed.

The combat systems components of the project, which was designed by the private sector, are provided by the partnership of ASELSAN & HAVELSAN. Türk Loydu classed DIMDEG, which has been designed to have the capacity to meet the fuel oil, water, food, spare parts, medical supplies, and ammunition needs, including helicopter fuel, with the method of replenishment at sea, in addition to its supply capabilities, together with combat ships such as MİLGEM and LHD, During missions at sea and beyond the ocean, it will also be able to perform the Command Control Ship.

The Sea Supply Combat Support Ship TCG Derya, which is planned to be the second largest support ship in our navy when completed, has a LOA of 199.9 meters and a width of 24.4 meters. While the displacement of the ship is 26 thousand tons, its speed can reach 24 knots.

DIMDEG, carrying out peace support, maritime inspection, natural disaster relief, search and rescue, evacuation of non-combatants and logistics support activities (meeting the fuel/water needs of ships at sea/port, reinforcing fuel tanks) for the needs of the Naval Forces Command. It is being built in order to carry out the tasks of maintaining fuel transfers between fuel tanks, etc.). The ship, which is planned to be delivered to the Naval Forces Command when its construction is completed, will be one of the largest ships in the inventory.
