The International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) is an organization that represents the global maritime industry. Established in 1921, the ICS aims to unite private-sector shipping companies to advocate for common interests in various maritime matters.

Among the responsibilities of the ICS are contributing to the formulation of maritime policies, enhancing maritime standards, promoting safe and environmentally friendly shipping, and supporting international regulations related to maritime affairs. The ICS collaborates with significant maritime organizations such as the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to influence developments in the sector.
